My FAVORITE Safeway. Love all the employees - super friendly and helpful every time I interact. The cashiers, deli, aisle, meat, seafood, bakery and floral department employees have ALL given me a great experience. I had to leave a positive review after seeing all the bad ones. I will add though - I too, had a bad experience with the cashier Elizabeth. (A while back, so I hope she's gone now) When I was purchasing a bottle of wine, she firmly stated "You know I'm going to check your ID, RIGHT?!" I've never heard anyone talk to me like that and I was astonished.
I dont usually shop here because it is a bit far away. But i realized they do have good quality of items. I was also on a mission to use their app. They also have alot of speciality items not easily found. Staff friendly and easily found for questions. They also have several special items on weds too.
